There are a number of ways nonclinical staff can help to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction, according to an article on the Health Facilities Management website.
In Health Facilities Management's 2015 Salary Survey, 55 percent of respondents said their incentive compensation was tied to outcomes. Of that 55 percent, 81 percent said patient satisfactionscores/HCAHPS was the No. 1 metric used.
The goal to increase patient satisfaction can play out in many ways, the article said.
