Addressing fall risk with patient room design

When dealing with falls and patient room design, there is more evidence about tangible products and less about how patient abilities might influence spatial layouts. A 2017 study uses a simulation-based approach to evaluate the biomechanics of falls to identify risk associated with physical design strategies, according to an article on the Healthcare Design website
