Florida nursing home cited for rats

Citrus Gardens, in Fort Myers, Fla., was cited by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for a rat infestation, according to an article on the Long-term Living website. Other safety violations were also found and the facility was fined $20,000. One trap caught a rat that was the “the size of a raccoon,” according to the article.
