How exactly does the Affordable Care Act’s (ACA) implementation affect construction? According to a blog on the Healthcare Design magazine website by Jack Darnell of Brasfield & Gorrie, there is no definite answer yet. Healthcare systems have been under pressure to deliver more for less for many years and the ACA doesn’t necessarily change that fact, he said. Healthcare projects and capital expenses may be influenced more by competition and economics than the ACA, according to the blog.
