Sealed Air’s (NYSE: SEE) Diversey Care division today announced that Premier Inc., a leading healthcare improvement company, has awarded Diversey Care a 3-year group purchasing contract for its leading Oxivir® and Avert™ disinfectant cleaner wipes in the intermediate category. 

For daily cleaning and disinfection, Oxivir® Tb and Oxivir 1, powered by Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide® (AHP®), are effective against bacteria, enveloped and non-enveloped viruses, TB, and fungi.  The recently launched Oxivir 1 is effective in one minute or less and carries disinfectant claims on 75 key pathogens. It now leads Diversey Care’s lineup of fast, effective, responsible and sustainable disinfectant wipe solutions.

One-step Oxivir solutions have the best possible safety rating (category IV) and are specially designed for use in healthcare environments. They are tough enough to clean and disinfect surfaces and equipment in one pass while being gentle on staff and surfaces.  Oxivir® is non-irritating to skin and eyes, requires no personal protective equipment and is compatible with most common healthcare surfaces and equipment.

Avert™ Sporicidal Disinfectant Cleaner Wipes are a task-oriented solution for use during Clostridium difficile (C. diff) outbreaks or in hyper-endemic settings.  With a one-minute contact time against key pathogens of concern such as CRE, Norovirus, VRE and MRSA and a mere four minutes against C. diff spores, Avert wipes clean, disinfect and deodorize hard, nonporous environmental surfaces in one step with no rinsing required.

Premier Inc. unites an alliance of approximately 3,750 U.S. hospitals and more than 130,000 other provider organizations. The contract with Diversey Care offers Premier members, at their discretion, access to Oxivir® Tb, the new Oxivir 1, and Avert™ sporicidal disinfectant cleaner wipes at specially negotiated pricing and terms, beginning May 1, 2017.
