IIDA healthcare interior design competition winners announced

First-ever Transformation and Innovation Award was awarded to Madrid healthcare facility


The winners of the International Interior Design Association's (IIDA) 2017 Healthcare Interior Design Competition were recently announced in an article on the IIDA website.

The competition recognizes outstanding originality and excellence in the design and furnishings of healthcare interior spaces

The 2017 Best of Competition winner is EwingCole for the Brandywine Valley Specialty Care and Ambulatory Surgery Center in Glen Mills, Pa. 

Parra-Müller Arquitectura de Maternidades in Madrid, Spain, was presented with the Transformation and Innovation Award for the Natural Birth Unit at University Hospital HM Nuevo Belén project in Madrid, Spain. 

This was the first-ever Transformation and Innovation Award, which recognized a project that is leading the industry and advancing healthcare outcomes.
