Texas healthcare facility mosaic mural to feature handprints

Helping Hands mural planned for San Antonio's Dr. Robert L.M. Hilliard Center

Family, friends and colleagues of Dr. Robert L.M. Hilliard lend a hand with decorating the San Antonio healthcare facility named after him, according to an article on the KSAT website.

Their handprints will be part of a mosaic mural that will be displayed in the building.

The mural will be commissioned by Reginald Adams, a Houston-based artist.

"Once the clay is dried, we'll glaze it, add color to it and then that will be incorporated into a 16-foot-by-10-foot mosaic mural that will be inlaid with glass and porcelain tile," Adams said in the article.
