i-lighting introduces iluma under cabinet & rail lighting

North East, Maryland – i-lighting™, the leading manufacturer of extremely easy-to-install, reliable and cost-effective exterior and interior LED lighting, has introduced a new line of iluma Under Cabinet and Rail Lighting featuring the company’s proprietary “LED Lighting Simplified” connection technology. Each system’s Easy Plug™ micro connectors simply plug together to ensure easy installations, which can be achieved in half the time of traditional lighting and with near invisible results.

“Our new iluma lighting is ideal for uplighting and downlighting almost any location in the house and yard,” says Scott Holland, president & CEO of i-lighting, LLC. “The systems are so versatile and easy-to-install that they fit virtually anywhere to create an endless array of application opportunities. Imagine the benefits of lighting a certain area and iluma can help make it happen.”

iluma Under Cabinet Lighting can be used both indoors and outdoors. It is available with either clear white or warm yellow LEDs and in stock lengths or customized lengths to meet contractor requirements. The iluma Under Cabinet Lighting is also designed in 10mm strips that make it ideal for task lighting applications performed on countertops or other work areas and 5 mm strips for placement as accent lighting on toe kicks, shelving, display cases and overhangs.

iluma Rail Lighting works equally well with vinyl, aluminum, composite and wood railing, creating nearly invisible downlighting effects. The system’s sleek 5mm design is also available for  4’, 6’, 8’ kits and can be customized to meet user requests.

In addition, iluma Under Cabinet and Rail Lighting can be operated independently with an indoor power supply or in conjunction with any existing i-lighting Deck, Stair, Landscape Lighting Kit through the use of the company’s custom low-voltage DC system and Easy Plug™ connections. In the coming months, i-lighting will also introduce a new dimmer system for specific use with all iluma Under Cabinet and Rail Lighting.

Another benefit is i-lighting’s ongoing commitment to meeting customer needs for customized results. For the best outcomes, users need only email or fax their plans to i-lighting and the company will specify the project’s lighting at no additional cost and normally within 48 hours. Purchase orders are also commonly filled and shipped within two days.

Furthermore, each i-lighting system includes LED spotlights that use approximately 80 percent less energy than incandescent bulbs and are rated for 12-plus years of operation if used 24-hours-a-day/seven-days-a-week. Other specific Stair, Deck and Landscape Lighting benefits include a:

• Photocell technology that senses ambient light and automatically turns lights on and off for both safety and security, while adding convenience and reliability

• Lighting design that does not create heat and as a result is safer for pets and children, while attracting less insects

• Interior systems, which also provide options for battery backup emergency lighting during power failures
