The SL71 Safety Hinge helps prevent pinched fingers in doors at child-centered facilities. By providing a 19/32-inch clearance between the door and frame on the hinge side, the gap leaves enough room for fingers even when the door is closed completely. The flush-mounted device is for 1-3/4-inch doors and flush mounted. The geared continuous hinges are BHMA Grade 1 certified.
