The Outdoor Area System is designed for use in health care facilities with courtyards and gardens where patients or residents spend time. Components include weatherized panic devices with delayed unlocking hardware, a 15-second alarm that notifies a monitoring station of attempted exit; access control devices that allow entry with a keypad or card reader; and weatherized door-propped alarms.
