A 'smarter' digital timer

Altoona, Wis. – Nanospark's Universal Equipment Timer is controlled through smart devices using a simple, touch screen interface. Instead of a small LCD screen and a few buttons to cycle through menus and options; control the timer with a smart phone or tablet. The simple interface makes managing equipment as easy as a swipe of the finger.

The Nanospark Controller App is the HMI (Human Machine Interface) for this digital timer. Creating schedules is simple. For instance, choose dates and times using a selection wheel, and slide toggle-buttons to assign which channel(s) will be run by this schedule.

The Universal Equipment Timer has 10 outputs (8 digital, 2 analog), or as folks in the industry will say- ten channels. This is helpful since most similarly priced timers will have 1-4 channels. Schedules can be configured to operate a single output or several. Easily thousands of schedules could be configured, limited only by the storage capacity of the tablet or smart phone.

Unlike other digital timers, Nanospark's Universal Equipment Timer offer truly remote confirmation and override. With a text message from any type of phone, the user can see equipment status and turn machines on and off. It is as simple as texting '[name of machine] off'.

These 21st century features, combined with the basic features common to digital timers, makes the Universal Equipment Timer rise above the rest. The Nanospark Universal Equipment Timer package includes a Nanospark, relays, wires, and an iPod touch 4th Generation with app installed.
