The addition is expected to be completed in late 2024.

Accreditation Commission for Health Care, Inc. (ACHC) has broken ground on an addition to its headquarters located in North Carolina’s Research Triangle. Plans call for tripling the size of the current building once the addition is completed in late 2024. The expanded headquarters is designed to accommodate more than 300 employees.

The new building will enhance cross-departmental collaboration and promote efficiency for ACHC’s office-based employees by providing technology enhancements, energy efficiency and improved amenities. ACHC also plans to use the expansion to deliver new education programs, featuring space both for dedicated ACHCU facilities and also a compounding pharmacy cleanroom.

ACHC has retained Legacy Real Property Group of Chapel Hill, N.C., to manage the property development. HagerSmith Design and Clancy & Theys Construction Company, both of Raleigh, will oversee architecture and interior design work and building and parking deck construction, respectively.
