AERCO introduces AM Rapid Recovery

AERCO International, a leading water heating solution innovator, introduces the AM Rapid Recovery (AMR) water heating system that combines the high-efficiency, reliable AM water heaters with an integrated thermal buffer, pump and all required piping in a single compact heating plant package. The complete solution provides contractors, engineers, and facility owners and managers with unprecedented operational, economical and space advantages in multi-family dwellings, apartment complexes, schools, university campuses, hotels, resorts, medical facilities, and commercial buildings.

Available in two configurations – a single package or skid-mounted with a selectable tank and optional AERCO SR300 Scale Reducing System – the modular AMR system meets water heating needs from 199 to 1000 MBTUs. For facilities with larger domestic water heating requirements, multiple units can be located with near-zero side clearance and managed using a BAS system. Because the AMR ships ready to be piped into a domestic water heating system, installation is much more efficient so domestic hot water heating plants can be operational much faster than with alternative water heaters.

At the core of the integrated AMR solution is the AERCO AM series water heater, which offers a variety of operational benefits, including high operating efficiency of up to 98%. Minimal cycling and tight temperature control are achieved because of the AM series’ advanced modulation and condensing technologies, and unique multi-module design that creates maximum turndown of up to 20:1. Premix burners make the AMR solution well suited for eco-friendly designs, as the system produces low pollutant levels of <20 ppm NOx.

High Reliability

Because the AMR solution is completely assembled by AERCO, overall system reliability is improved. The independent modules in the water heater also create built-in redundancy typically only found in multiple-unit systems. Further lowering maintenance costs is a patented Variable Radial Circulation (V.R.C.) heat exchanger constructed from 316Ti stainless steel that has long life.

The AMR family has a small footprint that allows the entire solution to fit in a standard doorway. The compact size, performance, and economic benefits make the AMR series well suited for both new construction projects that emphasize space optimization, as well as retrofits with tight mechanical rooms.
