AMAG Technology’s Symmetry access control integrates with DMP XR550 intrusion panel

AMAG Technology announces an integration with the DMP XR550 burglary and intrusion panel. The XR550 is an integrated burglary and fire panel that can be configured with AMAG’s Symmetry access control system for users to gain access and disarm an area using a single card.  AMAG Technology is an integrated security provider of access control, video management and visitor management solutions.  Symmetry products give customers a comprehensive end-to-end software platform so users can manage all their security needs while reducing risk and meeting industry compliance.

“Alarms from the DMP XR550 will appear in the Symmetry access control system, providing one user interface to control and manage alarms,” said AMAG Technology, Product Manager, Andy Goodwin.  “By combining intrusion detection with access control and security video, security teams can react more proactively to security incidents and maintain an audit trail of activity to demonstrate compliance with post orders and other business rules.”

The XR550 panel includes 99 programmable schedules for areas, profiles and outputs, which delivers a flexible and comprehensive offering to users.  The XR550 contains 32-bit processors that operates 20 times faster than the previous model with 10/100 Ethernet auto-sensing that ensures the fastest possible network connection.

The DMP XR550 panel integrates with Symmetry v8.1 which will be available early in 2016.
