AdventHealth has opened a new emergency room to expand access to care for residents of Meadow Woods, Hunters Creek and surrounding communities.
The approximately 13,700-square-foot emergency room features 12 patient rooms, respiratory therapy services, diagnostic imaging including CT scans, X-ray and ultrasound, as well as an on-site full-service laboratory and pharmacy — all designed to support fast, coordinated emergency care close to home.
The emergency room will be staffed by a dedicated clinical team, including board-certified emergency physicians and experienced emergency nurses. The new emergency room is expected to bring up to 90 jobs to the area, including a range of clinical and support roles.
HuntonBrady served as architect for the project, with Batson-Cook as the general contractor.
