Allseating’s Latest Collections On Display At Phillips Contract Group’s New Philadelphia Showroom

Allseating is excited to announce that it will now be represented by Josh Phillips, founder of Phillips Contract Group, in his new showroom in the emerging Fishtown area of Philadelphia. Located at 23 East Allen Street, the showroom is Phillips’ first solo endeavor and will cater to designers, architects, and clients that serve the education, healthcare, and corporate sectors.

“We feel that the Phillips Contract Group showroom is the perfect exhibition space for our brand—downtown Philadelphia anchors the showroom in culture, with a lively urban scene that is supportive of small business, art, and music,” says Chris Binnendyk, president of Allseating. “Josh’s return to the Allseating team is very exciting and we’re thrilled to see the success he garners with the new showroom.”

Previously a 20th-century metal factory, the 2,000-square-foot industrial loft features exposed brick walls, concrete floors, and massive 15-foot ceilings. The space is reflective of today’s workplace—uncluttered, airy, with touchdown lounge spaces for impromptu gatherings. The open floor plan encourages movement and exploration throughout, and in doing so, captures the flexible spirit of Allseating’s award-winning seating solutions.

An industry veteran with 20 years of experience, Phillips is well known for his customer-centric approach that includes a quick turnaround on quotes, help with warranty resolution, and full accessibility to the client. Whether it be showroom tours, fabric or finish samples for storyboards, or product samples for testing, Phillips is proactive in meeting all client needs and acts as an extension of the project team. Phillips’ expertise in ergonomics and the sit-stand experience makes him an asset in communicating Allseating’s ‘Sit Fit’ mission, a theme rooted in wellness and productivity that continues to influence the company’s collections.

“After working with Allseating at the start of my career, it seems fitting to partner with the brand as I pivot into the next milestone—the start of my own company.” says Josh. “As a market leader with ever-expanding, innovative and multifunctional product offerings, Allseating provides Phillips Contract Group a wide range of solutions to entice and engage our customers and partners.”
