America Exhibits Innovation and Commitment to Partnerships at Arab Health 2019

American technology and innovation, deeply valued by patients and medical professionals in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) for improving health care and quality of life, will be prominently on display during the Arab Health Exhibition and Congress 2019, January 28 through 31 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

More than 350 U.S. manufacturers, suppliers, service providers, hospitals, clinics and practitioners are participating in this year’s show. From personal care and safety products to over-the-counter remedies, specialized medical devices, equipment, treatments and first-class facilities, U.S. exhibitors in Dubai represent a wide scope of the global market’s most competitive health and medical solutions.

The centerpiece of America’s effort at Arab Health is the USA Partnership Pavilion, organized since 1993 by Kallman Worldwide, Inc., the show’s official U.S. representative, in coordination with government agencies, including the departments of Commerce and State.

Comprised of nearly 4,000 sqm in Halls 1, 2, 5, 6 and Za’abeel 3, the Pavilion is America’s headquarters on-site: an efficient location for buyers to meet more U.S. suppliers, a high-profile showcase for American exhibitors looking to maximize their exposure and impact at the event, and a forum for all to share ideas and insights.

The Pavilion features 275 participating companies representing 31 states, including 65 first-time show exhibitors. Notably 10 state departments of economic development and commerce — Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia — are hosting their own state-branded pavilions featuring state-based co-exhibitors within the larger USA space.

“The USA Partnership Pavilion at Arab Health 2019 is the largest organized American contingent ever to exhibit at a trade event in the MENA region,” said Kallman Worldwide President and CEO Tom Kallman. “It’s an unequivocal measure of how important the MENAregion is to the American health and medical industry, and that countries across the region are looking for innovative U.S. partners to further their progress and ambitions, such as the UAE’s Vision 2021 goal ‘to achieve a world-class healthcare system’.”

By trade show industry standards, Kallman estimates the group collectively represents a $30 million overall investment in partnerships to generate new business and create jobs by growing exports, expanding in-region alliances and/or recruiting overseas partners to establish or participate in U.S.-based activities, including patient care.

“Many of our exhibitors — from publicly traded stalwarts to leading institutions and innovative SMEs — already have business partnerships or operations underway in the MENA region,” said Kallman. “After this show, I am confident many more will.”

EXPANDED PAVILION FEATURES SERVE MORE VISITORS ON-SITE AND ONLINE

In addition to exhibit space, Kallman Worldwide is introducing the new USA Information Center, located on the show’s main concourse between the entrances to Halls 1 and 2, to help more show visitors “find American solutions faster.” The stand offers multimedia contentand personal assistance to answer inquiries about U.S. exhibitors as well as the larger U.S. health and medical marketplace.

For those on the go, whether or not they are attending the show, Kallman also presents the online Arab Health Visitor Zone at kallman.com/arab-health-2019. The Visitor Zone features a centerpiece searchable Pavilion directory, plus interactive tools — including more than 50 Exhibitor Spotlight news summaries and downloadable images.
