Array welcomes new practice area leader in Northeast region

By Healthcare Facilities Today

Array Architects is pleased to announce the addition of Anthony Caputo, LEED AP, as Principal and Practice Area Leader for Design to our Northeast Region.

For the last 15 years, Tony has dedicated his career to the practice of healthcare design.   That commitment to excellence in developing and implementing design concepts is seen through his multitude of successful projects across the country, touching every service line.  He brings hands-on technological capabilities with a unique ability to quickly represent potential, transformative solutions.  In addition to his well-rounded expertise, Tony offers a depth of understanding how to design projects.

"If you are lucky, you’ve had the opportunity to work with a designer who just “gets it”…someone who is able to balance operational efficiency, building performance and fiscal reality while always delivering the emotional poetry of inspiring design…Array is fortunate enough to be adding just such a designer to our practice," adds Kent Doss, Principal and Mid-Atlantic Regional Vice President of Array. "Those of us at Array who have had the pleasure of working with Tony in the past couldn’t be more excited to have him join us as he takes a leadership role in the firm out of our New York office!"

Array is ranked by Modern Healthcare as the 16th largest firm in the US, by design fees earned in 2012 in their 2013 listing of the nation’s top healthcare design firms.  When comparing design firms focused exclusively on healthcare, Array has a #1 ranking across the U.S. Architectural Record has released their annual Top 300 List, identifying the top architects in the country.  This year, Array is ranked 83, up 20 spots from 103 in 2012. Array offers a full complement of knowledge-based services including planning, architecture, interior design and advisory services.  Array Architects is a Zweig Letter Hot Firm in 2013, and has recently been recognized by Architect Magazine in their Top 50 for Business ranking.
