Aspirus Medevac Achieves NAAMTA Accreditation

The National Accreditation Alliance of Medical Transport Applications (NAAMTA) has awarded Aspirus Medevac accreditation for their ground ambulance and rotor-wing medical transport program.

NAAMTA Accreditation is founded upon standards, which identify best practice criteria in all aspects of medical transport, including business administration, personnel qualifications, training, communications and safety.

“Aspirus Medevac provides exceptional transport services in North Central Wisconsin and Upper Michigan,” said Lisa Gee a member of the NAAMTA auditing team. “Their willingness to provide 911 and ALS intercept services in rural areas demonstrates an exemplary commitment to meeting the medical transport needs of the communities they serve.”

Aspirus MedEvac has built a solid reputation in medical transport excellence, a status continually augmented by a nationally-recognized medical transport accreditation. They are the first program to meet 100% compliance in the inspection process.

“We’re proud to continue to be a NAAMTA Alliance member,” said Jason Keffeler, Aspirus System Director of Pre-Hospital Emergency Services. “The accreditation has validated our high standards, our commitment, and our quality.  We are exceptionally proud that we are the first program surveyed to have no criterion deficiencies.”

Aspirus Medevac has been accredited since 2015. They were the first hospital-based program in the NAAMTA Alliance.
