Until now, The Friendly Society Private Hospital in Bundaberg, Queensland had claimed the largest solar energy system on a healthcare facility. It installed more than 1,200 panels which generate 545kW of electricity — slightly more than a 503kW rooftop array belonging to the Canberra Hospital.
