BLU-MED deployable field hospitals

These field hospitals from BLU-MED are the perfect deployable solution for either civilian or military purposes. When disaster strikes, these mobile field hospitals can offer communities with emergency medical needs and inadequate facilities a place to house patients and where medical procedures can be carried out safely and conveniently. These hospitals are composed of vinyl fabric over an aluminum frame, and can easily be delivered by airplane, helicopter sling, tractor/trailer, or rail, and are parachute-capable. They are completely sealed and insulated, allowing for absolute temperature control and self-sufficient oxygen generation, making them usable in temperature extremes from -55 degrees Fahrenheit to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. They can also withstand snow loads up to 20 lbs. per sq. ft. and winds of up to 100 MPH. These facilities are rugged and tough, yet also portable and quickly-assembled.

These units are scalable and modular, and you can order these deployable hospitals to suite any scale or type of need. We offer configurations for 15-100-bed wards, and these configurations can also be tweaked to your specifications. There is a wide variety of shelter sizes and configurations, all with fully-integrated UL-tested electrical, lighting, and HVAC systems. You can also customize your units by requesting one or more of our floor plans and equipment packages for special units, such as an immunization facility , with areas for waiting, interviewing, teaching, and immunization, or a laboratory, with autoclave, mass spectrometer, workbench, centrifuge and hood area. These BLU-MED deployable field hospitals from Alaska Structures have been used and tested by the US military, and employed in humanitarian disasters worldwide, and can be trusted with your safety response needs.
