Baltimore wellness center designed to reduce stigma of mental illness

Simon Life and Wellness wants clients to see it as a cool and welcoming place


The Simon Life and Wellness center in Baltimore was designed to the reduce stigma of mental illness, according to an article on the Baltimore Sun website.

To encourage clients to see it as a cool and welcoming place, the facility is decorated with abstract art in warm hues and colorful flowers pop against the modern white interior design.

Simon Life and Wellness offers an art therapy room, music therapy and yoga classes. Adult clients can take healthy-cooking classes and children learn to make YouTube videos. 

There is a game room where kids can play foosball and board games.
