Baylor Scott & White Health will soon open its newest campus, Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Frisco at PGA Parkway. Designed to meet the needs of Texans today and in the future, the medical center will provide healthcare infrastructure for a region that continues to experience record growth.

According to IBM Watson Health, this area of North Texas is growing at a rate higher than both the state of Texas and the country. Data from the U.S. Census Bureau shows that three of the top five fastest-growing cities in the U.S. by percentage are located within about 24 miles of the new medical center.

The new 40-acre campus will offer communal green spaces, more than two miles of trails, health and wellness events and activities for everyone to enjoy. The goal is to blend care with community-centered innovation.

One example of this approach is the hospital's Center for Women and Infants. Before being treated at the medical center once it opens later this summer, an expectant mother can use the MyBSWHealth app or website to be connected to pre-natal services, educational tools and 24/7 access to virtual care. Then, upon arrival at the hospital, expectant mothers will find a dedicated entrance, private elevator and an entire floor devoted exclusively for women, with an environment that reflects the hospital's focus on comfort, dignity and privacy.
