CBRE Appointed by Providence St. Joseph Health to Provide Property Management Services Across its Medical Offices

Providence St. Joseph Health (PSJH), one of the nation’s largest health systems, has appointed CBRE to provide property management and portfolio services for 14-million-square-feet of their medical office portfolio.  PSJH is a not-for-profit, Catholic health system that employs more than 119,000 caregivers serving in local communities across Alaska, California, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas and Washington. Its system offices are based in Renton, Washington and Irvine, California.

PSJH is in the process of transforming its service delivery to more directly support the full continuum of care, including community-based, acute and post-acute care. After a competitive bid process, the health system selected CBRE as a strategic partner to deliver and implement real estate and facility solutions.

“At PSJH, we believe that health is a human right, and we’re committed to providing the very best care to our patients,” said Providence St. Joseph Health Senior Vice President of Real Estate, John Milne, M.D. “We’ve made a strategic decision to partner with a business group that has aligned values and specializes in helping us optimize the performance of our facilities.  This will allow us to focus on what we do best, developing health in communities.”

“We’re very pleased to be supporting an organization that is so vital to the health and well-being of its communities,” said Kevin Kraiss, West Division President for CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions business. “Our healthcare practice is designed to identify areas of opportunity that ultimately help improve the quality of patient care.”

“It’s an honor to partner with healthcare clients like Providence St. Joseph,” said CBRE Healthcare leader Mark Lamp. “We are excited to put our specialized healthcare offering to work to support them in delivering on their mission.”
