CME Doubles Warehouse Space in Southern California


Following years of soaring demand for healthcare facility equipment, CME has moved into a new warehouse in Orange, Calif., that will double its capacity for providing assembly, staging, biomedical and distribution services throughout Southern California, the medical distributor and logistics company announced.

The new industrial space on 1247 W. Grove Ave. expands much needed warehouse space and triples the office space that will complement the company’s growing footprint nationwide and allow for anticipated growth in the Southern, Calif. area Large staging areas are required for the CME team to execute elaborately choreographed equipment installation projects that outfit hospitals, physician practices and all medical facilities with the appropriate equipment without costly disruptions to patient care or business.  

 “At CME we have always believed that our job is to provide our customers with the products they need, on time when they need it. With our upgraded warehouse space in Southern California, we will meet the increasing demands of the marketplace and deliver on this mission as we always have,” said Cindy Juhas, chief strategy officer for CME.

CME sources more than 1 million medical equipment products from more than 1,400 manufacturers nationwide. By maintaining a network of regional warehouses, CME ensures that its customers are always located close to one of the hubs, a differentiator which has made the company’s logistics prowess unmatched in the industry.

We have also more than doubled our warehouse spaces in Northern California, Salt Lake City, Indianapolis and Seattle as well as opening a new service center in Chicago,” said CME President Normand Chevrette. “This is a very exciting time for CME as we continue to grow nationwide and expand our capabilities in multiple regions including the South and Midwest.”
