Feather River Hospital says reopening a matter of when, not if


A spokesperson for the Paradise, Calif.'s, Feather River Hospital said that the hospital reopening was a matter of when, not if, according to an article on the Chicoer website.

The hospital is the largest employer in Paradise, with more than 1,000 full-time and part-time employees. The spokesperson said there was still no timeline for reopening facilities.

The lower level of the hospital suffered extensive damage and many outbuildings, including offices, were destroyed.

The cancer center, the emergency department, the maternity ward, the outpatient surgery center and a large clinic are still standing. The birth center has some water damage.
