Cintas Spotlights Superhero EVS Technicians During Nationwide Awards Program

The Cintas Corporation is now accepting nominations for its first-annual C.A.P.E. Award (Cleaning to Advance the Patient Experience), which recognizes Environmental Service (EVS) in acute care facilities as superheroes. Nominations are being accepted at www.CintasCapeAwards.com through August 21, 2020.

Created to celebrate EVS technicians who don masks and gloves, instead of capes, to work on the frontline of patient care, the program awards $2,500 to eight winners and a $2,500 donation on their behalf to their healthcare institution or charity of their choice. They will also receive a Rubbermaid charging bucket with Rubbermaid products inside.

The Cintas C.A.P.E. Award is open to all acute care EVS technicians who have worked at their facility for at least one year. Nominations must be 500 words or less on why the nominee is deserving of the award and submitted by August 21, 2020. Cintas and Rubbermaid will select eight EVS technicians to be crowned the 2020 Cintas C.A.P.E. Award winners on September 13 during EVS Week.

Official rules are available at www.CintasCapeAwards.com.
