CleanBeyond's infection control spray service helps schools combat latest enterovirus outbreaks

Parents' and school administrators' concerns about health rise during the flu season and this year, with the onslaught of a new enterovirus, attention to infectious disease is particularly keen. Colds, flu and other viruses seem to run rampant and germs spread quickly at daycares and schools and among friends. Now, a local Nashville company is helping schools fight back.

CleanBeyond of Nashville's Disinfecting Spray Service, available to pre-schools through universities, effectively kills the viruses in the entero family as well as 63 other viruses and bacteria. And their spray process, using hospital-grade disinfectant Total HG, eliminates 99.999% of the bacteria and viruses causing MRSA, E. Coli, Staph, Salmonella and strains of Influenza, as well.

"We come in and spray schools and facility interior spaces to totally kill these germs and viruses." says Ms. Key, local franchise owner of CleanBeyond. "This is especially important when there is a recent outbreak or flood of illness. Parents and administrators want to know that going to school doesn't compromise their child's health."

CleanBeyond also offers School Spray Days so parents can have their vehicle interiors sprayed, to further cut down on transmittable viruses carried by kids, passengers and car poolers.

"The wonderful thing is, our product is totally safe for children, pets, even moms-to-be. When we use our disinfecting spray, there is no need to clear the room. It's all non-toxic," adds Ms. Key.

The company has found success at daycare centers and schools, which also realize that reducing germs on surfaces can help young children and students stay healthier. Carl Sabo, Head of School, St. Bernard Academy, supports the program, "We are more than pleased with the Clean Beyond program. They created a cleaner, safer and healthier environment, not only for our students, but our entire school community. When we presented the new program at a recent parents group meeting it was met with overwhelming support."

CleanBeyond specializes in infection control and cleaning services for Residences, Commercial Buildings, Educational Facilities and Athletic Facilities.
