Strips of confetti were found that made up entire prescriptions with patient names, doctor office address

Strips of confetti tossed during the recent parade for the U.S. Women's soccer team were found to make up entire prescriptions with patient names, doctor office address, according to an article on the WFMYNews2 website.

This is not the first time this has happened. In 2012, confetti dropped from office buildings during the New York Giants Super Bowl parade included Social Security numbers and medical treatment records, the article said.

Police department reports and documents ended up as confetti during the 2012 Thanksgiving Day parade, but the official confetti was just colored paper.

It all cases, there seems to be a case of official versus local businesses and residents confetti. The official confetti of this parade was two tons of strip cut, blank news roll.
