A partnership of Remedy Medical Properties and Kayne Anderson Real Estate, and Advanced Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine (AOSM), a division of OrthoLoneStar, announced that construction has begun on a new 17,452-square-foot medical office building (MOB) adjacent to the Legent North Houston Surgical Hospital in Tomball.

Upon completion in the fall, AOSM will move its existing clinic in the North Cypress Professional Building at Lakewood Crossing at 22485 Tomball Parkway. into the new one-story MOB at 11520 Northpointe Boulevard. The facility will offer clinical orthopedic services as well as physical therapy and imaging.

The new MOB is located on the busy Tomball Parkway (SH 249), a mile south of the Grand Parkway (SH 99) loop, making it easily accessible to patients throughout north and northwest Houston. The site will feature 83 parking spaces.

Remedy also owns the Legent North Houston Surgical Hospital. Because of the project’s proximity to the hospital grounds, Remedy’s development has taken steps to minimize disruption to operations, including providing temporary parking for staff and visitors.

The project development team also includes architect XA Collective, general contractor Rogers-O’Brien and civil engineer Up Engineering.
