Continued Education on High Performance Data Centers


Legrand North and Central America, a provider of lighting controls, electrical components, and data center solutions, has announced the latest in the company’s series of continuing education courses entitled, “Designing for Intelligent, High Performance Data Centers.” 

The course seeks to address the following objectives: review current technology trends as they relate to data centers, commercial buildings and sustainability; define the term “Intelligent Building”; explore opportunities and challenges presented by Intelligent Buildings; illustrate how LEED and sustainable design principles support Intelligent High Performance data centers; and identify high performance solutions for data center design. The new course is the latest addition to a library of resources offered by Legrand through online education site, AEC Daily. All courses are available for immediate and free access through the site as a convenient method to earn continuing education credits from a variety of accrediting organizations, including GBCI. Professionals seeking continuing education units for the reaccreditation of their LEED Accredited Professional or LEED Green Associate can earn 1 unit from this course.
