An Inverness, Scotland, hospital which had to postpone a number of operations due to dust contamination in its operating roms has ruled out recent construction work as the cause, according to an article on the Scottish Construction Now website.
The floors were found to be contaminated by dust resulting in a number of postponements of surgery while the area was deep cleaned.
The area had been undergoing an upgrade as part of a renovation project.
Testing showed that the dust migration was not directly attributable to the nearby construction work.
