Control Temp Mechanical Services Expands Operations Through Strategic Merger With C-K Air Conditioning

BRAVO! Group Services (BRAVO!), one of the largest, privately-held facility support companies in the country, announced that it has acquired C-K Air Conditioning Inc, headquartered in Clifton, NJ, and has merged the operation with its existing Control Temp Mechanical Services business.  The new combined operation began operating as C-K Control Temp Mechanical, Inc. on March 9, 2018.  (www.ckcontroltemp.com)

C-K, a regional provider of mechanical and engineering services, was founded in 1961 and is a highly respected company in the tri-state market.  C-K retains an impressive client portfolio, providing support services to some of the largest and most complex facilities in the New Jersey/New York region. C-K’s experience includes all phases of air conditioning, heating, process piping, and air treatment.  The company has serviced a wide variety of buildings from standard commercial office buildings to pharmaceutical production & research facilities, telecommunications facilities, computer/server rooms, clean rooms, and hospitals.

Karen J. Martinez, BRAVO! Group Services President & CEO, commented, “This partnership significantly expands our capabilities and commitment to growing our mechanical installation and service business.  Chris Curtis and John Kuder, C-K’s owners, have built a great organization with a strong reputation in servicing very large and challenging projects.  We are very excited to be working alongside the talented team at C-K.  Chris and John have joined our leadership team, with Chris serving as President and John as Vice President-Service for the combined operations. Chris will lead our growth strategy throughout each of our regions.”

“As we performed our due diligence to find a business partner to successfully move forward with, it was extremely important that our cultures aligned very closely,” commented Chris Curtis.  “Corporate compatibility was an essential requirement, not only for the benefit of all the hard-working C-K employees that have contributed to our success for the last 57 years, but also for our loyal customers, so that they will experience a seamless transition of continued quality and service excellence.”  Co-owner John Kuder added, “By teaming up with BRAVO!, we will have greater resources at our fingertips and add more depth to our already dynamic crew.  BRAVO! has a proven track record of industry growth and success, and we're happy to become a part of their continuing expansion.
