Custom Equipment Introduces ZT-1630 Hy-Brid Lift for Precision Maneuverability

Custom Equipment LLC, an industry leader in high-quality, low-level access equipment, introduces the all-new ZT-1630, the ultimate compact lift with precision maneuverability. The new lift is a member of the Zero-Turn Series, part of Hy-Brid Lifts’ next generation of lifts. The ZT-1630 is a premium machine built with professional operators in mind, making it ideal for applications including construction, facility maintenance and more. The ZT-1630 is the tallest offering from Hy-Brid Lifts, delivering a 16-foot platform height and a working height of 22 feet.

“The ZT-1630 is a natural extension to our product line,” said Terry Dolan, Hy-Brid Lifts president & CEO. “Not only does a 16-foot lift help meet the needs of various industries, the ZT-1630 is a premium machine for serious operators. Contractors seek machines that boost their productivity and allow them to tackle challenging projects. This lift does just that.”

The new generation of lifts — comprised of the Push-Around Series (PA Series), Pro Series (PS Series) and Zero-Turn Series (ZT Series) — aligns with Hy-Brid Lifts’ commitment to increased efficiency and safety on the jobsite.

The ZT-1630 offers premium features and precise maneuverability. Its innovative point-and-go-style drive allows unrivaled ease of movement in confined spaces and the proportional controls provide feather-like control for optimal lift positioning and precise jobsite mobility. The ZT Series of lifts features a compact size, large work platform and high lift capacity. It also includes the built-in tool tray and signature lightweight design of Hy-Brid Lifts, which allows for earlier access to sensitive flooring.

The ZT-1630 is a safer and more secure alternative to a traditional mast lift. The scissor stack supports the weight of the platform with four points of contact while mast lifts are supported by only one point of contact. The lift also provides the operator a larger work area than standard mast-style lifts.

Hy-Brid Lifts designed the ZT-1630 to comply with the all-new ANSI A92.20 standards, even though they won’t be required until the end of the year. This regulation, which will become effective December 2019, covers design, calculations, safety requirements and test methods for mobile elevating work platforms.

“Our dedication to leadership and innovation drove us to design the ZT-1630 to meet the new ANSI standards ahead of schedule,” Dolan said. “We’re committed to leading the industry in terms of these regulations and ways to improve our customers’ lives. Complying with the new standards means rental companies and end users are able to remain ahead of the curve when buying a compliant lift.”

All Hy-Brid Lifts are heavy-duty, safe and lightweight, with low wheel loads that allow users to maneuver them over delicate floors and get onto green concrete sooner. They are USA-made with high-grade steel, and all feature non-marking tires and a low step-in height. All lifts are covered by a two-year parts and labor warranty and a five-year structural warranty.
