The lightweight yet rugged, drop-resistant device features ultra high-speed scanning of RFID tags, simultaneous scanning of multiple tags, scanning in 360 degrees, and scanning of tags facing in different directions. When compared to scanning barcodes, working time is reduced by up to ninety percent or more.
A high-power, one-watt antenna allows the BHT-1281 to scan standard RFID tags at a
best-in-class distance of 16 feet or more, significantly improving efficiency when scanning products on high shelves

A comfortable pistol-grip handle makes the BHT-1281 easy to use for long work sessions. Dual extended-range batteries enablecontinuous scanning for eight hours or more.
Communications capabilities include wireless LAN and Bluetooth. An optional device cradle enables wired connection to a PC viaEthernet, USB or RS-232C.
