Dräger Awarded Pediatric Supplier of the Year from Vizient for the Second Time

Dräger announced that Vizient, the largest group purchasing organization (GPO) in the U.S., has selected the company as “Pediatric Supplier of the Year” based on its exceptional support, partnership and organizational commitment toward assisting pediatric hospitals in achieving their supply chain goals. This is the second time that Dräger has won the award, which Vizient presented on April 3, 2019, during its Connections Business Summit in Las Vegas.

Vizient, which serves more than half of the nation’s hospitals and eight of the 10 “Best Children’s Hospitals 2018-19” noted by U.S. News & World Report, honored Dräger and 22 other companies at its annual event. Vizient chose Dräger as Pediatric Supplier of the Year based on its collaboration, customer service, support of pediatric initiatives and commitment to product service and quality.

“This award demonstrates our strong focus on providing a comprehensive pediatric solution, and how our devices are leveraged for enhanced clinical and financial outcomes,” said Steve Menet, senior vice president of sales for Dräger Hospital Solutions. “It also acknowledges our tremendous growth in the pediatric market, which we have achieved through relationship building, education and commitment to product and service excellence.”

“We are pleased to recognize Dräger as our supplier of the year for pediatrics,” said Jody Hatcher, president, supply chain services for Vizient. “This award reflects their commitment to collaboration and service excellence that helps Vizient’s members meet their goals for supply chain efficiency and cost management.”

Dräger’s portfolio offers pediatric-focused solutions impacting the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), operating room (OR) and transport. For more information, visit our website.
