Duravit updates SensoWash with slender new aesthetic

Duravit is adding to its signature SensoWash line with a new ultra-streamlined version at a friendly price point: the SensoWash Slim. This minimal shower-toilet features an especially flat seat and is an innovation in form, giving the piece the look of a classic toilet, but with the benefits of a SensoWash seat.

Duravit USA President Tim Schroeder explains, “SensoWash Slim provides the most popular benefits of our original SensoWash model but with a newly sleek aesthetic. Its slim design also permits easy separation of the seat from the toilet to clean, which makes it an ideal design solution for both public and private spaces.”

The flat seat unit has a scratch-resistant, pore-free surface and is completely separate from the shower-toilet technology. The full SensoWash Slim seat can be removed with a snap, allowing it to be cleaned quickly and easily, an advantage for both residential and contract bath areas.

SensoWash Slim is controlled by a remote control, through which users can select from three wash cycle options: ComfortWash, RearWash, or LadyWash. The remote can be used to change the intensity and position of the water spray for each of these. Additional features include child safety lock, nightlight, and soft close toilet lid. An integrated flow heater ensures that water is used smartly, heating the required amount only when it is needed.

This new model is compatible with seven Duravit collections: the new ME by Starck, DuraStyle, Happy D.2, Starck 2, Starck 3, Darling New, and the upcoming P3 Comforts.
