Needed space may be in the old records room


Healthcare providers looking to a practice without moving to a whole new office may find needed space in the old records room, according to an article on the Physicians Practice website.

It might be able to be transformed into an exam room or two — or storage for equipment.

Small rarely used provider offices can be turned into an open plan area by knocking out some walls and adding pods or team stations. 

You may be able to easily and inexpensively improve your waiting areas with a fresh coat of paint and upgraded furniture.
