Palmetto Health Baptist and Palmetto Health Richland affected by flooding

Firefighters are shuttling water Palmetto Health Baptist and Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, S.C. due the effects of flooding in the area, according to an article on the WLTX website.

The hospitals are under a boil water advisory, and are having problems with water pressure.

A spokesperson for the hospitals says the staffs are trying to use their emergency water supply, conserve what water they do have, and aren't ruling out the possibility of transferring patients to another facility.

Fire trucks have gone to the hospitals to pump in fresh water. Approximately 40,000 gallons an hour were being put into the buildings' water system.
