Flagship Healthcare Properties Fully Leases Medical Office Building in Charlotte

Flagship Healthcare Properties (Flagship) has secured two leases for its medical office building (MOB) at 1900 Scott Avenue that return it to 100% occupancy. Located in the Midtown submarket of Charlotte, North Carolina less than 0.5 miles from Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center, 1900 Scott Avenue is a two-story, 17,272-square-foot class “A” MOB. The building offers a five per 1,000 surface parking ratio, on-building signage, close proximity to all major interstates and is within walking distance to the numerous restaurants and retail locations within the vibrant submarket.

Veritas Collaborative, a national healthcare system for the treatment of eating disorders, recently opened on the entire first floor of the MOB. Atrium Health signed a lease for the entire second floor of the building and plans to open a new pediatric practice in the space.

“Veritas Collaborative is thrilled to have a permanent space to serve persons with eating disorders and to have a central location that is easily accessible. Being close to medical hospitals and to food service were major factors in choosing this site,” said Dr. Preeti Matkins, executive director, Veritas Collaborative Charlotte.

“I am very pleased to have secured these two leases in the dynamic Midtown submarket. We now have a strong tenant mix to continue the legacy of healthcare services at 1900 Scott Avenue,” said Reed Griffith, partner and executive vice president of leasing and brokerage for Flagship.

Sue Back with Davis Moore represented Veritas Collaborative on their lease negotiations, and Marshall Williamson with Lincoln Harris represented Atrium Health. Reed Griffith with Flagship represented the landlord on both deals.
