Florida Hospital Orlando project will include 24 rooms, a porch, kitchen and laundry facilities


Florida Hospital Orlando is building a facility for patient families that will include 24 rooms, a porch, kitchen and laundry facilities, according to an article on the Orlando Business Journal website.

The $4.6 million Bartch Transplant House is scheduled in be open by summer 2016. 

The 21,000-square-foot facility will be located on Lake Winyah.

The hospital is also building its new $65 million, three-story, 97,000-square-foot Winter Garden hospital and will soon start a $90 million project at Winter Park Memorial Hospital that will expand the emergency department and build a new patient tower.
