If a mass school shooting should happen in their area, Tallahassee Memorial Hospital staff members say they're prepared, according to an article on the WCTV website.
Tallahassee Memorial administrators say the key is training. They use lessons learned from tragedies and incorporate them in their plans.
The hospital does multiple drills throughout the year covering everything from hurricanes to mass casualty events.
Barbara Alford with TMH said, "When we hear about a tragedy like this in South Florida, the first thing that goes through my mind is that could be us. We are the only level two trauma center in the region."
