Florida hospital system to invest $600 million into three 'wellness villages'

A Florida healthcare system is planning to build three "wellness villages" in Brevard County, investing more than $600 million during the next five years, according to an article on the Orlando Business Journal website.

The villages will represent a $600 million investment.

Each ”village” will have different healthcare concepts, including fitness and medical offices.

The 150-bed Cape Canaveral Hospital will become part of tone of the villages, where it will feature 120 acute care beds, six operating suites and 28 emergency department bays.
