A man opened fire inside a private hospital north of Atlanta


A hospital employee was injured when a man opened fire inside a private hospital north of Atlanta, according to an article on the Campus Security website.

The shooter entered the Ridgeview Institute, a private mental health hospital, seeking treatment. 

During the visit, he got into a confrontation and pulled out a handgun, eventually shooting his way out of the building.

A hospital employee was injured when a bullet ricocheted into his leg during the shooter's escape.
