Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare Opens New Oncology Center

The new facility is called the Bourland Radiation Oncology Center.

Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) announced that the Dr. James and JoAnn Bourland Radiation Oncology Center is open and seeing patients. 

With the addition of the Bourland Radiation Oncology Center, Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare now offers complete cancer care, including surgery, chemotherapy and radiation to allow patients to receive the cancer care they need, closer to home.

Featuring one of the most advanced medical linear accelerator suites available today, the Varian Medical Systems TrueBeam Linear Accelerator system provides state-of-the-art in high precision, image-guided radiotherapy to treat tumors wherever they are found in the body. The linear accelerator suite also includes a unique Skylite in-ceiling video wall to help relax patients with calming videos and images during radiation treatments. 

In addition to state-of-the art technology, Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare has a team of nurse navigators, medical oncologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists and other specialists.
