AdventHealth Celebration has broken ground on a new patient tower, a significant milestone amid rapid population growth across Osceola and south Orange County.
The eight-story tower will include 80 progressive care beds and three operating rooms. The tower will also include shell space to accommodate future growth, including an eventual ER expansion and room for new services. The new tower will bring the hospital’s bed count to 437.
The event also served as a commemoration of the 30 years since the original groundbreaking for AdventHealth Celebration. The hospital, planned and created in collaboration with The Walt Disney Company, opened in 1997.
The tower is slated to open in late 2027. Hunton Brady is the architect on the project, and Brasfield & Gorrie is the general contractor.
