Hammes joined leaders from Columbus State Community College for the groundbreaking of OhioHealth Hall in Columbus, Ohio. This new 80,000-square-foot academic building will transform healthcare education and double the number of graduates in critical, in-demand fields over the next decade.

The state-of-the-art facility will feature labs, simulation spaces, classrooms and student amenities to prepare the next generation of nurses and healthcare professionals. Healthcare programs are among the fastest-growing areas of study at Columbus State, reflecting both student demand and regional workforce needs.

Announced in June 2023 as part of a partnership with OhioHealth, OhioHealth Hall will serve as a regional hub for healthcare education. The partnership is designed to supply a steady pipeline of highly trained professionals to Central Ohio's healthcare providers, addressing critical workforce shortages and improving community health outcomes.

Hammes Healthcare will be serving as Columbus State's project manager and owner's representative. The architect on the project is Moody Nolan. Elford is serving as the construction manager.
