Guerbet Announces Appointment of Richard Hines as Head of Sales for New North American Interventional Imaging Division

Guerbet LLC USA, the U.S. affiliate of the global specialist in contrast product and solutions for medical imaging, announced today that Richard Hines has been appointed to lead the newly-created North American Interventional Imaging II sales division.

In this role, Hines will report to Thomas McLaughlin, Head of North American Sales and Service in partnership with Interventional Imaging Commercial VP Thomas Bonnefont, to develop a U.S. Interventional Imaging Sales team.

“We are delighted to welcome Rich to our U.S. leadership team,” said Massimo Carrera, Guerbet Vice President for North America. “Rich has extensive leadership experience in sales and marketing for pharmaceutical and medical devices. His deep knowledge of the imaging and interventional space makes him a valuable addition to our team as we continue to increase Guerbet’s visibility and grow as a leading player in medical imaging worldwide.”

Hines previously served as a top regional manager under Guerbet’s full line sales division for five years. His appointment to Interventional Imaging II follows Guerbet’s acquisition and U.S. launch of Accurate microcatheters in January 2018.

Hines holds a Master of Business Administration from Monmouth University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Science from Thomas Edison State College.
