HGA Names Chief Operating Officer

HGA is pleased to announce that Scott Lindvall, AIA, NCARB, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. He will oversee daily operations of the firm’s design and business strategies across eleven national offices.

“Scott embraces our key priorities—building and leveraging original insight into projects for our clients and the communities they serve; fostering an equitable culture; and managing a healthy practice,” said Tim Carl, FAIA, Chief Executive Officer of HGA. “He has an in-depth understanding of what it takes for a design firm, and for our clients, to succeed. I am excited to collaborate with Scott as we continue to expand our resources and original insight nationally.”

Lindvall has more than 25 years of architectural experience focused on healthcare design. He joined HGA in 1999, serving most recently as Vice President and Principal in the Healthcare Practice in Milwaukee.

His project experience includes campus master plans, replacement hospitals, medical office buildings, and community hospitals for such leading clients as Ascension, Aurora Health Care, and Virtua Health System.

“HGA focuses on creating outstanding experiences for our clients, team members, and communities,” Lindvall said. “We empower our teams across the nation to create successful projects while providing firm-wide resources. I am excited to help manage our success over the coming years.”

Lindvall has a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
