HMN Architects Welcomes New President

HMN Architects is pleased to announce that Vice President Dave Brown will succeed Larry Ralph as the firm’s new President — effective in March. Brown joined HMN in 1993 and was promoted to Principal in 2000.

“We are really excited to transition Dave into the role of President,” said Larry Ralph, who will stay on as a Vice President and Shareholder. “Dave will lead the day-to-day activities of the office and will be integral in the management and oversight of the firm including staffing and business development. We look forward to many years of continued success and growth under Dave’s leadership.”

Brown brings a unique perspective to each of his projects. With many years of experience in the design and construction field, Brown has overseen the design and management of projects ranging from small renovations to large replacement hospitals.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to lead a dynamic and growing firm that I have been part of for more than 26 years,” added Dave Brown. “The entire HMN team is grateful for Larry’s leadership and we are happy that he will continue to be active at the firm over the next year as he transitions into retirement.”

In addition to Brown and Ralph, Chief Financial Officer and Principal, Terri Doty, serves on HMN’s Board as Secretary and Treasurer. She and Brown will continue to lead HMN Architects while Ralph transitions to a business development, marketing and key client relations role.
